Hello — I'm Jon. I'm the founder of Knowledge Tree and Butterfly, a consultancy at the seam between analytical work and software development. Before that I was a senior statistician at Smith & Nephew, and I remain a well-published and collaborative researcher specialising in epidemiology, risk, and demographic structure, and a full-stack software developer working extensively with agentic AI.
